SAFETY PLAN

| Each school site updates and reviews
with the staff the Comprehensive School Safety Plan annually.
This plan addresses the areas of school crime, child abuse reporting,
disaster procedures, suspension/expulsion policies, teacher
notification procedures, sexual harassment policies, dress codes,
safe ingress and egress to and from school, school environment
and school rules.Fire and earthquake drills are conducted regularly.
Representatives from outside agencies such as the Health Department,
Fire Department Disaster Preparedness Office and the District's
insurance carrier inspect the school sites regularly also. Any
problems identified are reported and corrected as soon as possible.
Alvord Unified School District's disaster preparedness plan
is considered a model in the region. |
