There is a close relationship between high standards of dignity, pride and proper grooming, which all contribute to an appropriate learning environment. The student and parent shall share in the responsibility for proper grooming.

  • Our school uniforms consist of a navy blue, light grey or white shirt or blouse – with collars.
  • Navy blue and khaki colors are acceptable for the pants, skirt or jumper.
  • We will be selling uniform shirts with an embroidered logo at the registration table August 15, 16, and 17th. We are highly encouraging the logo shirt as a    base for our school uniform.

On behalf of the PTA, I would like to welcome all students and families to the 2008-2009 school year. If you don’t know already, you’ll soon discover that parents are an important part of our school. Our fundraising efforts supplement the curriculum by providing journals, assemblies, and field trips for our students.

The Parent Teacher Association is a national organization aimed at promoting better education for all students, improving collaboration between parents, schools and the community at large and advancing the welfare of all children through legislation. You can learn more by visiting the web site at www.pta.org and www.capta.org.

We encourage you to get involved in your child’s education. Know what’s going on! Membership for the PTA facilitates this! Even a couple of hours a week can make a difference for our students! You can work in your child’s classroom or offer your skills on a particular event.

De parte de la asociación PTA, les quiero dar la bienvenida al año escolar 2008-2009. Si aun no lo sabían, pronto descubrirán que los padres son una parte muy importante en nuestra escuela. Nuestros esfuerzos en la recaudación de fondos suplementan el currículo proveyendo diarios, asambleas y excursiones de estudio para todos los estudiantes. La Asociación de Padres y Maestros es una organización nacional que se enfoca en la promoción de una mejor educación para todos los estudiantes, en la colaboración entre los padres, las escuelas y la comunidad en total y avanzando el bienestar de todos los estudiantes por medio de la legislación. Los animamos para que participen en la educación de sus hijos. Manténganse informados de lo que ocurre en sus escuelas. La membresía PTA facilita esto. Donando dos horas por semana en las escuelas puede hacer la diferencia para nuestros estudiantes. Pueden ayudar en los salones de sus hijos u ofrecer algún talento especial que tengan para eventos especiales.
