MEDIA SERVICES is located at the Instructional Materials Center. This department provides a circulating library of videos, K-6 reading kits, realia, supplemental reading & math materials, study prints, multimedia kits, models, literature units, GATE material, drug awareness & prevention materials, curriculum units, and professional materials for the use of faculty and staff of the district. Media Services is responsible for ordering, receiving, processing and distributing all instructional materials and software; library materials and subscriptions purchased by the district. It facilitates the adoption of elementary and secondary textbooks, and maintains a master list of K-12 adopted titles. Samples of district adopted K-8 programs are housed at the IMC for the duration of the state's adoption cycle. The IMC monitors the budgets for all instructional and library materials. In addition, this department coordinates the library services for the district.
